Over this past weekend, Electric Soul attended TAMC's first ever convention in Macau. The mission of the conference was to assemble electronic music’s most legendary and innovative artists and professionals from across the globe to demonstrate the huge potential for Electronic Dance Music throughout Asia, and this is exactly what we got. Amongst the large panel of speakers was Hong Kong's legendary Father of LKF, Allan Zeman, the Managing Director of DJ Magazine, Martin Carvell and J-Path, the Director of Club Octagon in South Korea.
Not only did we learn a lot from the wealth of experience of the speakers, we also had a blast making connections with some of the top players in the industry. Their words of wisdom concerning the past, present and future of the EDM market resonated with each person in the ballroom, with clubs, managers, promoters directors and founders eager to ask more.
All in all, it was a fantastic conference! Everything ran smoothly from start to finish; the TAMC staff were efficient and helpful, the staff working at Grand Hyatt were wonderful in dealing with our booth take down and all the other sponsors were enthusiastic and welcoming.
Following the conference on Saturday was the highly anticipated Born Out of Music Pool Party held at Hard Rock Hotel. Though we started off with some drizzle in the afternoon, the party took off as the sun went down. At our booth, we gave out some sick Electric Soul gear; temporary tattoos, sunglasses and bracelets! Once our job was done and we were equipped with our backstage passes, (and maybe a few drinks hehe) we jumped up on stage and ended up meeting Marlon Flohr from Bassjackers!
Check out other photos from the party on our Facebook page.
Thanks for inviting us this year TAMC, can't wait for the next one ;)
